| 1) The Beginning (Venus Lighthouse) The game starts by prompting you to name Felix and Isaac. The whole story plays through. Once the story plays through, you find yourself in the Venus Lighthouse, where you see your first display of Psynergy, when Felix Moves a statue onto a switch, which turns off the electricity behind Jenna and Kraden. Felix goes in the top door, and Jenna and Kraden start to leave toward the bottom. Jenna stops and says some things, and then Alex appears out of thin air. Jenna and Kraden seem surprised to see him. There is some more dialogue, then Alex and Kraden disappear into Jenna, and she leaves the room. Go through the door to the left, and continue through the hall. Leave through the door to the south. Go all the way east in the next room, and go through the door. Hop around on the blocks to the platform to the south, and open the chest to find an Herb. Go back to the north platform, out the door, and exit through the door in the middle of the next room. Go through the next room and exit to the south, doing the same in the next room. You will now be outside the lighthouse. Go south to the clearing in the trees. Someone will shout, and Jenna will go south to see a bunch of people blocking either side of the road. Some dialogue will take place, then Alex and Kraden pop out. Some more dialogue, then Alex asks you a question. Alex uses his Psynergy to get rid of some of the guards, then the workmen all run away. Head down the road to the left, and keep following it until you meet a ruffian. After you beat him, go west to the next screen. Go up 3 flights of stairs, and beat another ruffian. Head west to the next screen. Go west until you see a vine. Climb down the vine, then down another, and go into the cave where you�ll be met by three ruffians. Easily beat them and go into the cave. In the cave, go down the stairs and through the door. In the next room, go south, then east, where a little purple bug will pop out and attack. Beat the bug to have Kraden pop out and comment, and then pick up the shining purple stone behind you. The Psynergy stone will restore all of your PP. After you get the Psynergy stone, head out the door in the southeast part of the room. You will be outside near a boat. Kraden will pop out and ask if it is the correct place. Kraden will spot the ship, and be very excited. At one point, he will hop into the ship. After a while, he will pop back out. After some dialogue, Alex will appear. Everyone will seem concerned that the lighthouse beacon hadn�t been lit. All of a sudden, the lighthouse will show, and the beacon will light up. A massive earthquake will begin, and the peninsula you are on will break away from the mainland and start drifting out to sea. In the next scene, Kraden and Jenna will be lying on the ground, talking. Alex will walk over and tell them he wants to show them something. They will go to the eastern edge of the island where, miraculously, Felix and Sheba will be lying on the beach, amazingly alive. It will then flash to the title screen. 2) Idejima Sheba and Felix will now be lying in the grass. There will be a long dialogue scene, in which both Sheba and Felix will wake up. All of a sudden, Alex will see a new continent. The island, however, will seem to be drifting away from it. Then, a huge tidal wave will come and push the island into the continent. Once you�re in control again, you will be playing as Felix, and you will be asked if you want to check yourself for injuries. Walk around and check with each of the other people to make sure they�re all okay. Once everyone has joined your party, leave to the west. Kraden will pop out and some dialogue will take place. They will wonder where Alex is, and Sheba will start talking about her destiny. 3) Daila Once you exit Idejima, head west around the mountain, then go south and enter the town. You will now be in a small town called Daila. Head to the inn and heal your party. Then stop by the shops to stock up on the latest weapons and armor. When you�re done, head south out of the city. You will see something tan flying around. It will stop and start talking to you. It will explain the concept of the Djinn, and then it will join you, and you can set it to Felix to raise some of his stats. 4) Kandorean Temple Once you�ve finished with the Djinn, head south down the path, and take the fork to the left. Keep following the path, and cross the bridge when you come to it. Keep following the path. Enter the temple when you get to it. Go up to the door with the bush in front of it. Use Sheba�s Whirlwind to get rid of the leaves. Enter the cave. Go through the hall, and climb the rope when you come to it. Go through the door in the middle. Once the dialogue finishes, follow the monk into the cave. When you enter the cave, dont check the chest straight north unless you want to fight a Mimic with about 190 HP, but it gives you a Game Ticket and 65 experience. Take the path to the left, weave through the pillars and continiue through the long winding hall then go into the door. Climb down the ladder and head left. Weave through the pilllars until you reach the monk. Then head up through the pillars and climb the ladder. Head south untill you reach a dead end. Hop around the pillars in the following order: east, east, south, east, north, east, north, west, west, north, east, north, and north. You should now be on a ledge with a door to the north. Head through it. Head north and take the path to the left. Follow the path, and go through the door when you get to it. Climb down the ladder to the right. Head south past the large group of rocks and enter the river. You can run up the river, so head north, weaving your way around the rocks until you reach the other shore. Head south, then east, and go through the door. In the next room, push the wooden pillar onto the circle to the left. Stand on the circle to the right. When you get to the other floor, hop onto the ledge and get the Mysterious Card out of the chest. Hop back on the circle then push the pillar on the on to the right circle when you get down. Now walk on the left circle, and hop onto the ledge. Head west and go up the ladder. now head east, and cross the first rope. Head northeast and use Move to push the pillar east. Then, hop across and push the pillar in front of the air vent. Now head back and cross the second rope. Don't climb down the ladder. Instead, head east, then south on the ledge. Now head west, and hop across to the left ledge. Go south, and hop back to the right ledge. Now, head south past the next rock, and hop ne more time onto the left ledge. Hop to the ledge with the ladder, and climb down it. Head out the door to the south. Head south through the room. Climb the ladder and go up the stairs. Now go up the next flight of stairs. Head north and climb the ladder. Use move to get the pot out of the way, then jump across the wood. Head up the hall to meet the Chestbeaters(See Boss Straegies). After the easy battle, climb up the latter that drops. Head down the hall and through the door. You will now be in the room with Master Poi. He will give you the Lash Pebble which will teach you the Psynergy Lash. Before you leave, head back through the door you came from. Head back through the hall and down the ladder, and south through the next hall. Move the pot and climp down the ladder. Go through the door to the southeast. Head through the door to the left, down the ladder, and through the hall until you see the rope near the Djinn. Use Lash on the rope and fight the Djinn. Once you easily defeat it you will attain the Mercury Djinn Fog. Use Retreat to get to the ladder. Climb up it to Master Poi's room. Head out the southwest door, slide down the crevace. Leave through the south door. Now exit to the south. |
5) Shrine of the Sea God To get to the Shrine of the Sea God, head south from the Kandorean Temple and follow the dirt path back to the fork in the road. Head north. If needed heal your party in Daila. From Daila, head straight east, and enter the cave. Once inside the cave, climb down the ladder. Head north and you will see some boys talking. Once they're done, walk up and climb the ladder. Walk over to the rope and use Lash on it. The boy will notice, and there will be some dialogue. When they're done talking, climb the rope and go through the door. In the next room cross the two bridges to the west. Head south and step onto the bridge to the east. Climb the ladder, and the Djinni will run. Follow it across the bridge, and then head south then west until you reach the door. Enter it. In the next room, follow the footsteps, and continiue until you see more footsteps. Follow them south into the water, enter the first door to the right. Step onto the bridge to see the Djinni run underneath you. Go back through the door, head south and through the second door on the right. Climb down the ladder, head north up the hall. You will see the Djinni run onto a blue wall. Before you follow it, push the flame pillar into the empty space to the north. Now follow the Djinni. It will now be trapped. Save before you fight it because it runs. After you beat it use Retreat. You are done with the Shrine of the Sea God for now. 6) Dehkan Plateau From the Shrine of the Sea God, follow the path west, then south. Take the right fork, and follow the path. Enter the Plateau. Once inside, go up the three flights of stairs. Walk around on the broken ground until you fall into the cave below. Once you are in the cave, head through the door to the north. Head east to the next screen. *Note: You can step on this type of ground safely once: , but stepping on this type of ground will cause you to fall through the ground: In the next screen, jump across the northern pillar onto a ledge with a treasure chest. Open it ot receive an Elixir. Jump back on the pillar to fall to the ground. Climb a vine to the west, and hop across the southern pillar, then across the next one to the eastern ledge. Head south, then east, until you come to some more broken ground. Go as far north as you can without stepping on broken ground. Now, head east until you are on the second broken piece. Head north, but don't step on the broken ground. Jump across the gap to the right, and head north. Step over the last slightly broken piece, and head all the way north to the next screen. In this screen, hop across the pillar to the west, then west, north, east, then, back est and back west so the pillar collapses, then climb the vine to receive a Themis's Axe. climb back down the vine, then up the stairs and out to the south. Head back into the room. Now, hop across to the west, then south, west, west, and west. Once on the ledge, head as far north as possible, then hop east, east, north, and west back to the ledge. Finaly, head east, then south and out of the screen. In this screen, head east to more broken ground. Walk around until you fall through, then head through teh door to the south. Head through the hallway and hrough the door. Once outside, head north to find a Mars Djinn. Like the Jupiter Djinn in the Shrine of the Sea God, it will run. Go up and fall through the hole. In the cave, go through the south door. Outside, head south until you can climb a vine. On the ledge, go north and follow the Djinn. In the next screen, follow it across the bridge. There will now be nowhere else to go, so head back across the bridge and down the vine. Head south and acros the two ropes. Push the south pillar all the way right, climb it, use Lash on the rope, and get the Nut from the chest. Climb back down to where the other pillar is, and push it off the ledge. Climb down it, around under the first rope, east, up the vine, and east to the next screen. In this screen, the Djinn will hop around and fall through a hole. You can't follow it, so climb down the vine and push the pillar all the way to the right, then climb it. Hop around on the weak pillars until you fall to the ground. Head around to the other wooden pillar, and Move it all the way left. Climb it, and hop on the weak pillar to collapse it. Climb the vine to the north, and push the pillar off the ledge. Go up to it and Move it left. Go back up the vine and hop across to the ledge and go through the door to the north. In the cave, go through the hall and through the door. In the room with the Djinn, don't go up to it. Instead, walk around the slightly broken ground and through the door to the southeast. Go through the hall and out the door. Outside, go to the broken ground and fall through the right hole. You will land on the Djinn, which will drop the Pound Cube. Equip it to learn Pound. Go through the northeast door. Now go through the south door. Go down the vine and Pound the left pillar, then go up to the Djinn which will now be trapped. Fight it, then climb the vine to the right and exit the room. Go through this hall, and through the left door on the next room. Outside, head south, down the stairs, and south out of the Plateau. |
