| "Im not that impressed". Unfortunately that is the
only conclusion that I can come to regarding the latest game in the ISS series. Having
seen the game I was very disappointed, mainly because the gameplay for which the ISS
series has been renowned for is not even close to being up to scratch on this version |

 |
| The new title is said to be running on a new game engine to that of
ISS Evolution that may be to blame. When the game is set on the highest definition level
the camera is very jumpy and almost impossible to play. |
| It is possible to reduce the definition which does resolve the problem
but then your left with fuzzy graphics. Thankfully the game does hold on to the realism of
game play that sets it apart from the arcade footy sims like FIFA, so there wont be
any slogging the ball up field for an easy goal. Again there are STILL no real names for the players despite Konami
having apparently signed a deal with FIFA over the issue. |

|
| But its not all bad news there are some very nice little additions
that have been made to the game. My favourite is the option to create a new player and
train him through from the early beginnings of his career into a world class player. Well
done for getting something right Konami. |

I have to admit I didnt get a very long
look at the game and I wasnt able to find out every thing that I would have liked to
so these are just my first impressions. My advice is to leave it a bit longer and wait for
ISS Evolution 2, which is set for release around December.
When I get more info about ISS 2000 or ISS Evolution 2 Ill
add it to the site but for now youll just have to be happy with what youve
got. |
| Incidentally
I have no idea what the picture of this cartoon woman is all about. I found all these
images on a French site so I couldnt find out. Maybe one of you lot have an idea? |
