Against his old Teammates
by Amir Ragporker

5.10.2002,
Michael Zandberg scored his first goal in Maccabi Haifa after he came to Haifa 2 months ago. He can't find a better place to score then his old team where he played only 2 months from now, Hapoel Petach Tikva.

Maccabi Haifa had some problems but in the end found the way to beat stubborn Hapoel Petach Tikva 3-1. Haifa seemed very tiered after all her resent matches in the Champions League and the Israeli league. But Haifa still has 3 wins from 3 games. Yet they had some problems, Praljia didn’t play so good, Badir had some problems and Zanu wasn’t in his best.
In Hapoel Petach Tikva's section the blue team really did their best. Yossi Rozen is becoming a wonderful player after he scored his 5th goal this season. Erez Eliav is another great player that may be in the national squad. But Petach Tikva needs to do some changes in the defense.

can't stop scoring goals, Yakobo

Haifa started the game well when Rosu stroke a good ball but Avramov took it.
Yakobo made it 1-0 after Rosu passed him a great ball to the middle, and the Nigerian striker scored easily from 3 meters.
After that Rosu stroke on goal but couldn’t score after Avramov turned it to a corner kick. Later Yakobo went on goal but missed near the bar.
Then Praljia found Yakobo alone in the box but Avramov saved the Nigerian kick to the Bar.
In the 41st minute Aliav ran good in the right wing to the box and passed backward to Rozen, who smashed it in from 10 meters,1-1.

Petach Tikva started the second half very well, with two big misses by Rozen and Eliav.
At these minutes Haifa ran to goal to score the wining goal. In the 78th minute Zandberg former Hapoel Petach Tikva scored, Rosu lifted the ball to the middle and Zandberg came from the back and headed it in.
Israelvic had good chance but he found the bar again. Haifa should have made it 3-1 but Rosu pasted the keeper and passed back to Cohen who missed from good range.
In the 90th minute it became 3-1Cohen passed to Yakobo that couldn’t missed against Avramov, 3-1 to Haifa.

Haifa can sleep well at night and now they have some time to sleep and not play. Hapoel Petach Tikva need to seek for intensification.
