Collecting the residues of threshing

Work at harvest season has never been a matter of routine to the Palestinian villager, but it stems from carefulness, persistence and thanking of threshing after harvesting, and gather the corn from the threshing floor after completing the works of winnowing.

لم يكن العمل الفلسطيني يعني أمراً روتينياً في موسم الحصاد ولكنه أمر نابع من الحرص الشديد وشكر نعمة الله عليه… حيث كان الفلاحون يقومون بقرقرة الجرن بعد الحصاد وجمع حبوب القمح والشعير والذرة من الأرض بعد انتهاء أعمال التذرية.
