This page is devoted to the topic of religious freedom, started at the request of Fitz, and inspired by the ruling of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals that it is an unconstitutional violation of the Establishment Clause for a schoolteacher to lead students in a recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance, even if allowed to refuse participation, because of the words "under God" in the text of the Pledge.

At the moment, the only links are to the
News at U.S. Constitution Online, the text of the Pledge itself, and existing articles on this page on the topic of Religious Freedom.
