"I touch the future; I teach!" Christa McAuliffe
Teaching can be magic, or so it seems when students are involved, really caught up in the joy of learning!  The teacher must be a leader, a facilitator, at times a friend, the authority, or a counselor.  We play many roles, and we need effective tools that when used properly, boost the learning process significantly while helping each student to grow as a person, as an independent learner.

The methods included here have been effective for me as a 6th grade teacher.  Some ideas, I'm sure you are familiar with and possibly use.  Whatever your reaction or opinion, I welcome your comments or questions.  I know they worked for me, so I hope you give them a try!
