Professional and Personal Goals: At this time, I am interested in teaching and administration at the  community college level in the field of education or as a teacher-trainer for elementary school teachers overseas.  I enjoy traveling and living and working in new countries and cultures.

  provide the teachers with new ideas and methods for teaching and specifically teaching English (ESL). 
- Taught ESL reading, speaking, and writing to all grade levels 1-9 as part of in-class model teaching and teacher evaluation.
- Created and organized a school library at outer-island school in Kiribati, implementing circulation for
  students.
- Promoted use of the library by students by designing a book checkout procedure and conducting
  instructional sessions with students in classes 1-9.  
- Obtained a variety of books for library and classroom use via stateside book donor organizations.
- Created a database system to assist Peace Corps and the Kiribati Ministry of Education in tracking  
  teachers' in-service attendance, co-teaching hours, and in assessing the TESL In-Service Program  
  effectiveness. Updated the information each term break. Revised term report forms and created a 
  supplemental report form used by Peace Corps volunteers.
