Hi! I'm Alicia. I'm in 7th grade at Oak Grove Middle School in Bloomington, Minnesota. I'm making jewelry, selling it, and trying to find household helper jobs to raise money for a school trip to Washington D.C. in May.
I'm taking 25 cents of each piece of jewelry I sell and putting it in a separate fund for my church, giving back part of what I earn.
It looks like I'll also be able to use this effort for one of my Girl Scout Badges.

I also got to meet Congressman Jim Ramstad. He wanted to see what I was doing, and thought it was pretty cool. HE"S TALL!!!!! Check my Diary for more pictures from the meeting.

WOW! I visited my Dad's Masonic Lodge - Lake Harriet Masonic Lodge. Not only did they buy 19 pieces of jewelry from me, but they also DONATED $200. THANK YOU!!!!!!

My Grandma Peg up in Duluth helped out too with a nice gift. I've now been able to pay for about 60% of this with what I've made and a couple of gifts.

My Uncle Lynn was a chaplain in Vietnam. I'm looking forward to seeing the Vietname Veteran's Memorial.

I'm still making jewelry. Anything now continues to reduce what my mom and dad are paying.

We leave at 7:15 AM May 13, and get back to Minneapolis at 9:25 PM May 15.

Scorpio Beads Nanette works with my dad, out in their Sacramento office. WOW, I love her beads......Nanette just sent me a whole BUNCH of GREAT beads that I am going to turn into jewelry (but they will be a bit more expensive)
Lake Harriet Masonic Lodge - The Masons of Lake Harriet Lodge helped out BIG TIME, great organization in Minneapolis.
