Philosophy of Tae Kwon Do

"Tae Kwon Do" means "The Way of Hand and Foot."

Tae Kwon Do is a system of both self-defense and exercise. The practice of Tae Kwon Do improves characteristics such as strength, speed, coordination, flexibility, power and balance. These attributes relate to the BODY.

Tae Kwon Do enhances mental and spiritual qualifies by teaching discipline, confidence, respect, patience, manners, concentration, attitude, and self-control. These attributes relate to the MIND.

To be a complete Martial Artist one must possess the ability to control the BODY, and the MIND as ONE.
