In this world and beyond

Who so glorious upon this Earth
Is now cradled in your arms.
I ask Thee provide courage and understanding to me
Knowing that her/his cherished soul now walks with you among the heavens.
I pray ye calm restlessness and grief.
Let me be encouraged each day
To celebrate the Great Turning of Life.
Let me find my peace and hope
In the sure and certain knowledge
That we shall meet again.

Oh Lord, Creator of the Green Earth, blue waters and Silver Moon.
Be with me in my time of need.
Grief, stress and confusion have taken over my life.
I feel the weight of life's burdens pulling me down.
I am sad and afraid, but I know you hear me now.
Your loving kindness is making the weight easier to bear.
Impart to me some of your spiritual strength,
So I may get through this crisis,
And get back to my normal life once more.

Divine Father,
Please take the soul and spirit of this dear departed one into the sweetest corner of your mind.
The most tender place in your heart,
That she and I might be comforted.
For now she has gone and I pray.
Beloved Father, for the strength to remember she has not gone far.
For she is with you and shall remain so forever.
She remains within me, for we are all in you together.
The chord that binds us one to the other cannot be cut, surely not by death.
For your deared Lord, have bought us together, and we remain in enternal connection.
There is no power greater than your love.
Death is not your master, nor mine.
These things I believe and ask my heart to register.
I surrender to you Lord, my grief.
