| Biography |
Isil Toksoz is a young pianist from Turkey graduated from the Vienna Conservatory. She was born in Istanbul in 1982. Her music education started in 1989 with private lessons. She entered Istanbul University State Conservatory in 1990. She studied there till 1996 Piano with Dr. Sibel ATAL & Solfeggio & Music Theory with Prof. Emel CELEBIOGLU. She performed her first public recital in 1996 at the prestigious " The Palais Yenikoy " ie. Austrian Culture Institute Concert Hall. Right after her performance she was sent to Vienna for an audition and she successfully gained entrance to the conservatory. Leaving her formal studies at the most acclaimed Istanbul German High School she went to Vienna and enrolled at the conservatory to continue her music studies. At the Vienna Conservatory she studied with Prof. Roland BATIK Prof.Paul GULDA Prof. Julika BEHAR She also worked with Prof. Leonid BRUMBERG. She studied Chamber Music with the famous ALTENBERG TRIO. |
Besides her studies at the Vienna Conservatory Isil Toksoz has participated in the Piano Master Classes of renowned pianists and educators.
