My name is Charles Clinton Ishman[1963-P], my father is
John Clinton Ishman[1935-P], his father is
Irvin William Ishman[1913-P], his father is
Charles Clinton Ishman[1889-1948], his father is
Frank Ishman (Ishtman)[1866-?], his father is
Joseph Ishman (Ishtman)[1845-1882].

I am not sure when the 'T' was dropped from the family name, but when I can confirm when the change occurred, it will be noted. I am thinking that it happened with Frank, or with Charles Clinton. More research needed here. These are the men in my family line of Ishmans. Now for the women they married and the family lines that joined the Ishman Family Tree.

Charles wed Catherin Ellen Kern in ????
Irvin wed Alice Irene Miller in ????
John wed Margaret Elizabeth Orris in 1958.
Charles has not wed.

There are many brothers and sisters not listed here. We know from a list found in an old family bible that Joseph & Rebecca had 12 children. The following names were passed on to me by my Aunt Barbara (Ishman) Hackett, who received it from my cousin Lisa (Ishman) Gamber some time ago.
