| ................................ | The Localist Party is a Libertarian Socialist think tank, dedicated to the ideals of Cooperation, Tribalism, Diplomacy, Equality, Sustainability, Responsibility, Transcendentalism, and of course, Libertarian Socialism. We hope to combine these ideals into a viable political party by researching our eight tenets and forming them into a solid format. It is believed by the Localist Party that this OCTOLEX, or eight rules, are essential to educating the people of Libertarian Socialism on a mass scale with supreme simplicity without leaving behind the nuts and bolts of each ideal.
We operate out of the Olympia, Washington area as a completely online community. Through the internet we hope to help people grow as Libertarian Socialists through education and strengthen our following with intelligence to erase the ignorance of what Libertarian Socialism really is. Our number one policy is to bridge the gap between the great thinkers of our movement and the general public so the real people can make informed decisions and not be afraid that they are the only ones out there who think about these great things. Each week we will bring you information from around he realm of our our foci in the form of blogs, forums, and newsletters and will work to highlight certain areas of interest from around the progressive world. We will bring you off the wall stories and opinion from our world and viewers through these formats on a very regular basis with the help of regular contributers and classical works.
