Authors note: Heddo...um..well..I really don't know what to say, but I guess nobody ever does. This is my second fic that I hope to get peeps to read. The first one I wrote was a GW (Gundam Wing) ficcie, but I didn't get good reviews because I don't think I was writing the right kind of story. I'm a serious writer, but I have a good sense of humor and I guess the story I wrote required more humor to it than I had to give. Anywho...my this story just happens to be about Serena and Dare...my two fav. anime characters, hehe. I got and idea for this story after watching City of Angels (which I think is an awesome movie) and said to myself, "Hey that's a serious movie and it kinda reminds me of the way I write...so maybe I could make a ficcie outta that." (I don't know bout all you peeps out there, but I talk to myself lots...maybe my head needs to be checked..<scratches head>) So, anywho...now you kinda know what my ficcie is about I suppose you're tired of me babbling...on to the ficcie!!

Disclaimer: Naoko owns the characters from Sailor Moon....and well...I kinda don't own the outline for my story ...it comes from City of Angels (ya know...the movie...), but I did add some of my own ideas into the story and swapped it around a little...<smiles evilly>

@-Two Worlds-)-

I was watching the child in a fever suffer as she complained to her mother she was cold. The mother just grabbed a thermometer and placed it into the child's mouth as the small one continued to shiver. The mother ran out of the room and didn't return for a few moments.

In that time frame the child discovered me sitting in the chair close to her bed. She smiled at me very sweetly despite what she was going through. I just stared back at the child, knowing what was to become of her.

The mother returned and pulled the thermometer out of the small one's mouth. "Oh my gosh! 105! Hold on sweetie, " she spoke softly so as not to frighten the small child. I just continued to look on as the mother ran into the bathroom and turned on the water in the tub. The child smiled sweetly at me again before the mother return to pick her up and brought her into the bathroom. I knew she placed her into the tub because the child called out.

"Mommy it's so cold!!" she screamed when the mother placed her into the tub with her clothes on.

"It's only cold, honey, because you're so hot," she answered.

When we made to the hospital, they laid the child on a stretcher and started off to a familiar place of mine. As we were walking, the mother told the doctors that her child said she saw me, or a young woman in her room. Then the child called out to me.

"Are you cold?" She asked me. I shook my head as they brought her into the room of glass as I was talking about earlier. They began injecting her with medicines with which humans seem to rely on too much. Then they tried to warm the child in other various ways which also failed because before they could do anything else, I was holding the child's hand. She looked up at me gratefully knowing I was the one that restored her warmth.

"Are we going home?" she asked me, curious as a kitten.

"Yes," I answered simply enough for the small one to understand.

"Can Mommy come?" she asked as her eyes wandered back to her mother's desperate face.

"No," I again answered simply as I looked down at the child finally.

"But she won't understand," the small one replied.

"She will," I said pulling the child down the corridor with me towards a bright familiar light. "Can I ask you something?"

"Yes," The child said smiling quietly.

"What was the best thing?" I asked, walking slowly, holding the child's hand softly in my own.

"Pajamas," she answered simply as though I should already know.
