The last time these teams met was in round 4, which saw the Dogs beat Carlton convincingly.
However, this time the Bulldogs will start underdogs against the Blues. They will need to play at their very best if they are going to beat the team that has won its last 13 games.
Optus Oval is considered to give Carlton a huge home ground advantage. However, it was the Dogs home ground for three years and they too, played well there.
The Doggies still have key players our injured and will again rely on their senior players to be at their best. Although, it they are going to win, the "middle range" players will also need to step up and take some responsibility.
For Carlton, Koutoufides, Whitnall and Camporeale have been in great form of late. The Dogs will certainly need to try to limit their impact on the game.
I predict the Dogs to win by 2 points. |
