Anyone can learn to skate and because ice skating covers such a
diverse range of activities, tastes and fitness levels, it is an excellent
sport for the whole family. Ice skating consists of a number of disciplines�figure
skating, ice hockey and speed skating.
However to be able to
do these ice sports, you need to learn the basics. Ice Skating Club
of Bendigo in conjuction with Bendigo Ice Stadium, runs sessions to
help people learn to skate. Here are the times and
the cost.
Learn to Skate Lessons

Monday at 5.00pm
- Friday at 5.30pm
- Saturday
at 9.30am
- Sunday at 9.30am
Lessons are held during
the figure skating sessions for 1/2 hour. Children are encouraged
to use the full session times to play and practice.
Figure Skating
Sessions
The club welcomes people from interstate and overseas to come
along to the figure skating sessions. There figure skating sessions
are held on:
- Monday and Friday from 4.00pm to 6.00pm

Saturday and Sunday from 9.30am to 11.30am, however during school
holidays the session is on from 8.30am to 10.30am.
Lesson Prices
To
try a one off skate - $20
The very first block of 5 lessons will cost
$105 and includes:
- Lessons with Russian Olympic Accredited
Coach Svetlana Vahezenin
- Boot Hire and entry into the rink

Aussie Skate Membership which includes booklet and badge and allows
them to be tested.
- Membership for the Ice Skating Club

After the first block of 5 lessons, the next
block of 5 cost $70 or you can take a block of 10 Lessons for $135.
