1983 Macgregor

I purchased her in May of 2003 at a marina on Lake Guntersville, AL
and it has been a love relationship from Jump Street
She is my second boat, the first was a ’82 Hunter 19 I purchased in 1990.

I say, I say... is a 1983 MacGregor M25 fractional rig sloop
She drafts 5’8” with swing keel down and 22” keel up
The boat displaces 2100 pounds with 625 pounds of ballast
Her LOA is 24’11” with a 7’11” beam and mast length of 28’ and 236 square feet of sail.

I say, I say... can sleep 5, needs to be REAL close friends,
has an enclosed head and came with a slide out galley
The cabin top lifts up to give approximately 6’2” of headroom and has a snap on cover
to enclose the cabin. She came with an ’83 Johnson Sailmaster 6 hp outboard,
but now sports a new 2004 Honda 8 horse 4-banger due to the death of the Johnson
