Increase:  Knit front and back of the stitch.

Decrease:  (For Diagonal Squares) Knit 2 stitches together.

Instructions:

Make 4 Isabelle's Circular Squares 6x6 inches each, using colors of your choice. For the "Nappy Buddy" on the photo, I made 2 Circular Squares + 2 diagonal squares.

Using the tapestry needle, sew the 4 squares together. (For those who prefer, it is also possible to crochet the squares together)

Then, using the hook, sc 2 rows (or more if you prefer) all around, on the Right Side of the work, making a shell of 3 sts at corners every time.

With the hook, make a chain 50. Turn and sl st all the way. Bind off.
Insert that cord in the middle of the blanky, where the 4 squares meet, and make a tight knot on the RS of the blanky.
(I secured the cord with few stitches on the WS).

*** TIPS: It is also possible to make only one big Isabelle's Circular Square instead of 4 6x6 inches squares...

In fact, any kind of squares put together would do it! Let your imagination go!
