| In Memory of Molly Mae 1999-2004 Unfortunately, we lost Molly earlier this year. She was hit by a car. I really miss her a lot and wish every day that she was still with us. She was a sweet, playful dog, and she never met someone she didn't want to kiss. I'm sure, however, that she's helping Mickey commandeer the little bus in the sky. |
| I am the proud mommy of two beautiful pups, Sandy and Mollie. We adopted both girls from the Joplin Humane Society, via random weekend trips to PetSmart. We adopted Sandy in December of 2003. We happened to be shopping for food for Molly when we saw this cute, scrappy-looking dog. They told us her name was Sandy because she looked like the dog from "Annie." After spending a little time with her, Matt decided to take the plunge and become a pet parent. On another PetSmart excursion in early April 2004, I saw a fluffy mop get out of the JHS van. Needless to say, I headed over there ASAP and met the adorable pooch. She was such a cutie! The volunteers told me all kinds of information about her, and then they told me her name...Mollie. The name certainly threw me for a loop, since we had just lost little Molly a few weeks earlier. However, I couldn't resist her big eyes, and, after some serious sweet-talking to Matthew, we ended up taking her home. I'm so glad we decided to get both of our doggie daughters--they've both been absolutely wonderful additions to our home! |
