Rountrip in Beijing, China
(from 14th to 26th March, 2003)
In March, 2003, I stayed in Beijing, the Capital of the Peoples Republic of China, for 9 days. At the time China  officially made the information about SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) still in secret. They said that Beijing hasn't infected yet and safe. Fortunately I wasn't infected with it as a result.

This time I took an international ferry, YANJING, between Kobe, Japan, and Tianjin, China. It takes 50 hours, 3 day voyage. The sea condidions through the round trip were really smooth and I could enjoy the voyage very much.
Beijing lies north-west to Tianjin and is conected by frequent bus or train service between these 2 Megalopolis in one and a half hours.

Because it was my first visit to the city, I was actually an out-of-town tourist. I hopped from the Great Wall to Tiananmen, the Vorbidden City, Beijing Zoo and so on.
Special places that I have seen, besides the famous touristic sites,  were probably China  Museum of Aviation and the Military Museum of Chinese People's Revolution. These days I am  interested in aircrafts very much. And in both Museums we can meet some aircrafts which are seen only in China.
