On Friday, September 22, 2000 Local 373 held it's annual "Old Timer's Beef & Brew Night" in our meeting hall at 462 Market Street, Perth Amboy, New Jersey.  Business Manager John E. Wade and President Ray Nakielny had various term of service pins for forty-three members.  They presented the pins to all the members who were in attendance and were aided in doing so by retired Business Manager John J. Wade who will be ninety years old in November and who, himself, has seventy-two years of service in our International Organization.

Two of the highlights of the evening were the presentation
of a thirty-five year pin to Business Agent Bill Nagy..........

and a thirty year pin was presented
to our President Ray Nakielny.

A "Beef & Brew" dinner is one in which a caterer is hired to grill beef filets on outdoor grills and then serves slices on toast continuously until everyone has had all he or she can eat.  It is delicious and everyone looks forward to enjoying it every year.  There was about two hundred members in attendance and a good time was had by all.
