The Sting have ended their first regular season in the NYAFL. They are on
top of the league with a 9-1 record after beating the Buffalo Gladiators 21-6.
The game got off to a quick start when the Jay Howard scored a quick TD after
catching an interception in Buffalo's first possession. Still in the first
quarter Rich Cannon caught a TD pass for 15 yards. Then in the fourth quarter
as the Sting ran the ball most of the way down the field Wayne Brockman scored
the last TD. Next week there is a bye and the Sting will be home the following
week. It will be the semi finals of the playoffs against an opponent determind
after this Saturday.
