About Us
Iris' Kennels is a sim/fake/not real private kennel that is part of the Sim Dog Club. We currently feed our dogs Nutro Natural Choice Lamb & Rice formula to our dogs. We expect the best out of them, so they deserve the best.
All of our dogs participate in conformation, and are not bred until they have their Champion title, and some kind of performance title. Most of our dogs, along with competing in conformation, compete in agility, obedience, herding, schutzhund and tracking. Go to the dogs page to find out which dogs do what.
We mostly breed just German Shepherd Dogs and Pembroke Welsh Corgi's. We have had a Australian Shepherd litter, but that will be it for other breeds. All of our other dogs are just pets, and we show them, but we won't breed them (unless it's a male, then he's up for stud). We plan on having several litters of GSD's and PWC's and we've already had some. To find out when we're having another litter, go here.
We at Iris' Kennels strive to produce happy, working dogs. We want to produce workings dogs with good looks. It's hard for most breeders to accomplish that. For us, it's no problem. Our dogs are intelligent and loyal, so they love to work for us.
We have produced 5 champions, 1 Schutzhund1 titled dog, 1 Best In Specialty dog, 1 Westminster Best of Breed and several other performance titles with our dogs. Besides dogs we've bred, we own 3 other Westminster Best of Breed dogs and almost all of our dogs have their championship in conformaton. We also have some dogs that have achieved chapmionships in other sports, including some schutzhund titled dogs. They're amazing, and we're proud of them.
Where did we get the name "Iris' Kennels?" Well, my German Shepherd in real life is named Iris. So, I decided to do it after my own dog. If you would like to find out more about Iris, go here.
I am a PT (Preliminary Tested) certified member. I got a perfect score. So, if you need a judge, e-mail me. (I specialize in herding breeds.)
All of our dogs get their hips/elbows checked before breeding by the OFSD. We expect Excellent/Good from our dogs and will breed to those, but we will breed to Fair also (if neccesary).
