Crystianne, better known as Crys by most, was born and raised in New York City, where she and her family lived in an upscale neighborhood. Her early years were, for the most part normal, though her mother, Bianca, tended to favor Jonathon, her older brother. As the years went by she and her mother grew more and more distant, even to the point where she was almost transferred from her upscale Catholic school and to a boarding school in 6th grade. Her father, Raphael, and her brother however fought the idea and it was abandoned.
On June 30, her birthday, of the summer after 7th grade, her father was invloved in a car accident while on his way to purchase a last minute birthday gift for her. His death devistated Crys and after it she spent many hours locked away in her room alone. She often blamed herself for his accident, and her mother did as well. Eventually after two years of greiving she was able to partially move on with life, though it wasn't the same. After much begging, and aide from her brother, she was able to convince her mother not to send her way to school again, even though her grades had been low ever since her father's death.
During high school, Crys decided to move to the local public school. While there, she became a party girl, known for being wild and rebellious and fell into the party scene. Even with warnings from her brother, she still continued drinking and partying throughout high school, her grades continuing to suffer. Three months before she was to graduate, while her brother was away on a trip, her mother told Crys she had a week to pack what she could and move out. Her mother told her she was tired of the damage she was doing to the family image and had to put a stop to it somehow. She pleaded with her to let her stay until school was over but her mother was insistant and she moved in with her friend Audrey.
All but boxable items still in her mother's possesion, her bank account full from her father's inheritance, and her life a wreck she barely managed to graduate, much less be accepted into college. Living out her remaining three months in New York with Audrey, she left NYC immediately after graduation. She and Jonathon spent two months traveling the roads of the US together, their ultimate destination Santa Monica, California, where Crys had been accepted into a college. She and Jonathon grew even closer then they had been during the time on the road, and Crys soon fell back into parties and friends at school to escape. Her second year at school brought a new roommate, Ciara, whom she clashed with terribly. They bickered constantly but eventually she calmed Crys down and the two became good friends. At the time Ciara was working towards opening her own coffee shop, The Cup and Saucer, which is where Crys is currently employed.
Crys and Ciara moved into the basement of the C&S during the summer before her third year of college. That same December on Christmas Eve Crys was shocked when Jonathan flew out to pay her a visit. Through a series of mostly misunderstandings they had a falling out and haven't spoken to each other since.
It was the evening of her argument with her brother that she and Darren, whom she met while at work and had become good friends with, began officially dating. They had been together a little over a year and a half until this June when Crys began doubting her feelings for him after he was photographed kissing his assistant, Leonie Messer. |
