Letting Go
You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'
The love I feel for you today...
Will never change, My Love.
I feel this is a precious gift...
From someone up above.
It seems I waited so very long...
To find a Love like this.
You warmed my Heart and touched my Soul...
And made me feel such bliss.
Our flames of passion were strong and bold...
As the fires within us began to unfold.
We shared both days and nights with rapture...
Grabbing every moment that we could capture.
It wasn't long before I knew ...
How strong the Love was I felt for you.
We dreamed and planned our future by the hour...
And then suddenly, your love seemed to lose its power.
My nights grew lonely without you there...
You seemed to have no more time to spare.
I'd wait and watch for you to appear...
And when you didn't, it became very clear.
Your love for me had gone astray...
And now there's not much more to say.
I will love you My Darling, for Eternity...
And will miss the love you once had for me.
I can't bare the lack of interest you show...
So I write this poem to let you know.
I wish you happiness in all that you do...
And in finding a Love, like I have for you.
Goodbye My Love, I will let you go...
But only because I Love You So!

This poem was written for a friend who wanted me to express how she felt after losing the man she loved. I know how I would feel.  :(
And now for a "lighter" mood
Rubber Duckies
Two Rubber Duckies, swimming in the tub.
One says, "Please, will you give me a rub"?

The other one swims through the bubbles and foam,
And says, "Gladly Ma'am", and grins like a Gnome.

The Female duck, spreads her feathers, and winks.
"A very nice Drake you are, me thinks."

"But Ma'am, since you have no fingers and can't point the way,
we'll think of something else, to while away the day."

And as they swam around the tub, it became very clear...
Just what the Master had in mind, when putting them so near.

NOW.......

Two Rubber Duckies, swimming through the foam...
One is grinning shyly....And one like a Gnome.  :)
