A new EP is in the works...more info. soon...see info page for details.

A couple more live pictures added.

A few gigs are coming up in April, we'll add dates/venues as they're confirmed.

Our old drummer Tim has had enough of band life, along with the pressures of his Art course.
We now have a new drummer - Clyde.
Check the msg board for details, more info. soon...but don't hold your breath.

We played a small gig at the Glasbury Scout Hut, the pictures are up on the pictures page

We recorded a couple of acoustic songs today, which we'll hopefully have up on mp3.com in a few weeks.

The EP was released saturday and is available for 4.50 from gigs or Hay Print and Design

Well, the 'Life' EP has finally been recorded and we are currently in the process of designing the packaging ready for the gig this Sat.  See 'info'. Oh and I've updated the Pictures page so there are some of us now.

Ok, we're not going to lie to you, we're too lazy (and Yahoo is too irritating) to update this terrible "news" column..most of it is more like history by the time it's up here anyway, so for any updates on gigs, band life, or new releases just go to the message board -see the  'bored' link on the left...that's it just scroll down there.....much easier
oh and if this site seems terrribly amateur....IT IS... we're just a band, not webpage designers, go check out some corporate website if you'd rather a fancy design and perfect layout...otherwise stick around - write a message on the board/email us if you have any comments

We're got a new CD out now, called Demo II, which will be available at gigs or if you're silly enough to send us money.... Its not an album but its got 12 tracks and a booklet with stuff on the inside too! Its more like an extra large Dilapidated Minds collection really. Enjoy.
P.S some of the tracks can be heard on our SoundClick site below.

Wooooo! an update!! Ok, so its not much of an update, its just a new news paragraph being added...
And this is just to let all you die-hard fans out there know that jonny and jed are off to uni in a few weeks. But its also to reasure you that If Robin Dies will continue as strong as ever! (note the sarcasm) Robins mission for this year is to get a driving liscence and buy the band a van so that we can attempt a tour sometime in 2004/2005....Will we succeed? theres only one way to find out....watch this space.

Cor blimey, its 2005 already, how time does fly! If Robin Dies are now almost 6 years old. How time does fly! And we've achieved so much is so little time...
Thanks to everyone who came to our 5th annual Scout Hut gig, it was the best yet. You could almost say it has achieved a cult status...Sorry gigs are so few and far between at the moment. We're looking forward to playing much more come summer time.
In the meantime support the tsunami
appeal!
OK, we're back...sort of...I mean we're updating the site, well this news bit anyway...Everything else will be the same old out-dated crap for a while longer still, or maybe for every, who knows? This is just a small celebration of the fact that we just played our first gig since last christmas...sort of. It wasn't the whole band but our little offsprings going by the names of Those Gay Hippies and Not Jim Smith played their first proper gig together, thanks to Theo and his efficient team of AberPunks. Thanks Theo and Bob, you're fab. Anyway thats it for this years excitment, join us next decade for another instalment of the worlds most fascinating band news... P.S speak to us on our message 'bored'. We're lonely.
