For those of you who don't use mIRC or Pirch, you can chat to anyone on
this site or anyone else in IRC, using the Chat Applet below. Read below
while waiting for the Applet to load, then start chatting.
Instructions and Tips
1. You will automatically be put into a random channel/room. Your nick will be Guest_??? and will be in red.
2. To get a nick, type /nick NICKNAME . Choose carefully, check the status window to see if that nick is already taken,
in a lot of cases you will be disconnected from IRC if you use a nick which is already registered.
3. Choose a channel to join by clicking on the "Rooms" button at the top of the Applet or by typing in the channel/room of your choice,
by typing /join #roomname . For example: /join #coffee_room
OR /join #clubhit OR /join #icq3 .
Some channels display an entry message, to view these look in the status window.
4. To leave a channel or close a window, click the X near the top of the nicklist.
5. If you visit another part of my site during a chat session, the current chat will be terminated.
To get back to the chat, return to this page and start again.
Click on the "Chat Talk" at the top of page, for a list of abbreviations.
