Lessons 1   

 The following tutorial is an attempt to teach anyone (that wants to learn) how to script mIRC. It assumes a couple things- You must be reasonably competent with use of mIRC (know how to send private messages, use simple commands like /join, understand the concept of a 'ping', etc.) and you must be reasonably competent with general Windows use. (using menus, the mouse, copy and paste, explorer or file manager, etc.)

Make sure you take your time when working through this- take the time to try out examples and play with your own code ideas, especially when things are confusing. You will have the best results if you do all your scripting (at first) in a new, clean copy of mIRC, without any other scripts installed.

As a note, you will often see little 'asides' throughout the tutorial. These tend to contain interesting or helpful tidbits of information, but the information can be considered somewhat optional, if you're in a hurry. However you should probably review them at some point if you skip over them.
