It gives me great pleasure to note that as part of IRAS Platinum Jubilee Celebrations the first
regional seminar is being organised by Southern Railway at Chennai on January 28, 2005.
The selection of the subject for the seminar is quite topical and it shall provide an opportunity for
interesting and thought provoking discussion. The occasion shall also provide an opportunity to large
number of young officers of Southern, South Western and East Coast Railways for participation in the
Platinum Jubilee Celebrations.
On this occasion, I extend my greetings and best wishes for the celebrations and seminar and hope
that it would be a grand success.
