DVR System: This is our newest piece of equipment. We use four infrared cameras to record any activity we might be able to catch. The hreat thing about this is it is recorded on a hard drive meaning we can record hours and hours of video. This is one of the best pieces of equipment we have.
EMF Detector: The most basic tool for any ghost hunter is the EMF detector. This device measures the fluctuations in the Electro Magnetic Field. The Electro Magnetic Field fluctuations are said to be made by spirits taking energy from the air around us, thus making the EMF field higher, which means a spirit could possibly be present. This device is only strong enough to pick up the exact fluctuations we are looking for during an investigation.
Digital Thermometer: A digital thermometer measures the air temperature around us. It is said that if a spirit is present, they absorb energy from the air to manifest itself. Well, by absorbing the energy in the air it will suddenly get colder in one specific area (not the overall temperature) or make a "cold spot" in the air, marking the presence of a spirit.We use this model with an external probe so we can move it around an area.
Voice Recorder: One of the best pieces of evidence that a paranormal investigator can get is an EVP, or Electronic Voice Phenomenon. An EVP is basically the voice of a spirit imprinted on a recording device that wasn't heard during the investigation.We also use an external microphone so the sound quality is even better. We also use a digital voice recorder as well on all investigations. There have been thousands of EVP's caught by investigators worldwide that can't be explained.
Digital Video Recorder: This is also one of the best pieces of evidence you can get during an investigation. Actual video proof of something (can be a shadow, full body apparition, mist, or black mass) that wasn't seen during the actual investigation. Our camera includes an infrared light to film in the complete dark.
Digital Camera: This is a quick way to get something like shadows, mist, or black masses. It is quickly and easily viewable right after taking the picture. I'd say the only problem with this is that it's only one frame that is instilled on the camera. But hey, there have been millions of photos taken that show something paranormal in them.
