Welcome to IPA Reloaded... This is the NEW IPA reloaded...  All of our administrators, [IPA]kev, [IPA]pimp, [IPA]Jmac, [IPA]Null, [IPA]Sphere, and the rest of the IPA Clan have worked hard to keep the clan running for the last years or two.  We have helped, (and owned) many newbies and helped them find their path :) .  This is IPA Reloaded.

MULTI THEFT AUTO SAN ANDREAS! - 1/22/06

The new MULTI THEFT AUTO SAN ANDREAS R1.0 IS HERE...  WHEN THE COUNTDOWN HITS ZERO THE CLIENT WILL RELEASE! HORRAY TO THE MTA COMMUNITY!

Release Candidate 2 has been released 1/9/06
We are all staying tuned as MTA:SA is being tested, for any last minute bugs. Release Candidate 2 has been tested, and soon will be released. (RC1 had a small bug) Everybody is becoming very excited as the days wind down. According to all these videos and screenshots it is going to be a great one, even if its just racing, vechicles are synced pretty well, and there seems to be very little crashes. What really makes it interesting is that the MTA team has a built in user friendly map/race editor. Which will allow players to create races, and maps, making possibilites virtually unlimited, for us players. Now only time will tell when MTA:SA is released.

We've just released Release Candidate 2 to the QA team. The main change in this RC is a fix for the crash I mentioned earlier - it turned out this was caused by a small mistake in someones code that managed to cause very erratic crashes. Glad that's out of the way! We've also fixed a couple of other minor issues too...

We've also got some information on server bandwidth usage, which I know some of the companies that provide game server renting are interested in. These are not final and may be inaccurate, but they should give you some idea. The average upload to players is about 35 kilobits per second per player. This clearly is lower for a smaller number of players and higher for a larger server.

Interestingly, when testing, it appears that many races are best played with a smaller number of players. Obviously this is up to the map creator, but a standard race seems to work best with under 16 players, whereas free-roam races can have many more. This is from my experience of our testing, I'm sure some map creators can make some really good 32 player races too, many of them just get too crowded (particularly at the start) with that many players.

MTA RC1 1/8/06
The MTA team has just released the Release Candidate to their Quality Assurance team. This is a great sign showing that a release is coming close, as if MTA:SA passes through this part, it will be renamed Release one!

Dated: Januarary 7 2006
I'm happy to say that we just this minute release the first release candidate to the QA team for them to test. We obviously hope this release candidate is the only one required, but it’s too soon to say if that’s the case or not. As far as I'm aware, there are no open issues that require fixing, so anything that does get changed that requires a new release candidate will either have been introduced in this release candidate or will not have been found previously.

We fixed 24 issues in this release almost all were minor. In total over this QA period for the first public beta we've fixed 439 issues - we never guessed when we started out 7 months ago to the day that this would take so long, but we all hope we've built a stable base for future developments and a couple of fun mods for you to play with.

That’s not to say the public beta will be bug free, of course, not even release quality software is. There’s quite a few issues that we've "suspended" for future patches, either because we can't track down their origin (which I'm sure the community will be able to help with), because they're too trivial to spend the time on or because they would delay the release by too much.

We'll update you on how the release candidate is received soon.

Welcome to the NEW (and hopefully) improved IPA Clan website! As Multi Theft Auto San Andreas gets near, we have decided to try to keep IPA alive, and continue web development. Web development has been great, and we have released the NEW IPA website. If you go back to the original IPA clan site there is no need to worry as you still are linked here, If you miss the old classic look, you can always go back to www.ipaclansite.tk and choose the original IPA clan site and look at it once more :) For now enjoy this fresh new look, as it took Jmac a really long time to actually create this website for us all. There is also IPA clan site V2.1 there the very first IPA website layout! smile

New video for MTA:SA - December 26, 2005

We hope you all had a great and happy holiday.  As a gift the MTA team has released a video for us all.  Showing the features and the gameplay of the new MTA:SA race mod, that is to be released soon.  The video looks awesome you should all check it out if you plan to watch it.  Also in case you haven't noticed, that IPA clan site is home to many other websites, what I like to call the IPA network.  And the IPA sister network.  These links are put on the side under the screenshots section.

Edit: Also visit the old abandoned IPA website version 2.1 click here it dates all the way back in 7/05/05  Please do not be an idiot and click those links since they do not work anyway ;)
There may also be another beta site coming, that is if I feel like making it : )

Other Multiplayer Grand Theft Auto's - December 19, 2005

Ok, its been a little while since I updated, but now that MTA:SA is coming closer (hopefully) I have included a progress bar in the left so you can get some idea of the progress that is going...  I would say that MTA:SA is around 80-90% according to the information given...  Also included is a bunch of other Multiplayer grand theft autos that you can download and try.  Ratings and quick info are also shown below the programs.  I haven't tried GTA: Rumble yet, maybe I'll give it a try sometime but for now there it is.

More IPA redevelopment - November 29, 2005

I am currently rebuilding the screenshots section of the website.  This may take a while since I have so many pictures.  Otherwise I'll go upload them on imageshack, or something and put them on the forum.  I also will be opening up the "recruitment center" if I can find the right coding and stuff.  And the video section.  Or I can implement it all into the media section, but I'll see about that later.  I also want to put in a web blog for [IPA] so we can check out whats going on in the clan and their life.  For now I'm not sure on that, I'll have to ask them.  As for the MTA Team, they are doing a awesome job at developing MTA:SA, unfortunately its taking very long and we have no idea when they are gonna release it.  Who knows, the MTA Team could just be making these fake images, and movies, and lying to us. (Lets hope they are not)  There are currently no servers up for IPA, maybe a IRC server that we can connect, too would be nice.  If any of you guys know how to make one or something...  The commenting feature is now enabled, its pretty simple, since its using our forum :P  I dont know how long were are lasting, but I hope we'll return someday.

IPA redevelopment - November 28, 2005

Welcome back to IPA, I will start working on the website, and do whatever I can in my spare time.  Of course I still have other things to do than work on the site, so cant work on just this.  For now the site will look like this, as updates for MTA:SA come, MTA:SA will come closer toward its release.  When it is released, I will open up a new video section for you to watch the videos of [IPA] and perhaps even downloads from us.  Please remember that MTA:SA is currently running internal betas and isn't released yet, hopefully soon. And MTA:SA release 1 will be a race mod including a built in race editor.  Deathmatch will come on later.  Also I also have to fix up the forum.  I'll see you all sometime, thanks for visiting and coming back to IPA.  Comments on the news is still under renovation cause of the forum...

07/05/05 by [IPA]kev - I hope you all had a enjoyable, and Happy July 4th. I will not be able to run the server as much now. So the server schedule for the Main Server now has no time schedule. There is a chance that it can open Friday night though. Also we are getting started to develop yet another massive website update. Don't worry everything you see on this current page will still exist, we will just change some stuff around, all sections you see on the side will stay there.

07/02/05 by [IPA]kev - We just got some new members recruited yesterday, and just had our second annual IPA races. It was a great time for most members, as we had around 8 members meet last night. We had great free for alls and a new deathmatch server was created yesterday just in case the main server shuts down.

06/25/05 by [IPA]kev - Well I just got news about the Stunt server. It will never open again... There is currently only one server running which is the [IPA]Main Server. If anybody can get us a free server that would be great. Even if you can run a server please do so for the clan. This will open up many more oppurtunites for IPA.

06/22/05 by [IPA]kev - We are still under construction as you may know. Features and pages will be added as we grow and as days pass by. Also most of what was in IPAclansite V1.0 will be put on the forums, like the help section, screenie section, etc... Unless there is a change in plans. Have fun!

06/20/05 by [IPA]kev - WELCOME TO IPA's all new recreated website, with tons of more fun and interesting features. Don't be afraid to give suggestions! UC means under construction. As we get more features we will add them. After it is tested. This site has been tested for link problems. If there are still problems please tell us via forums, email or the shoutbox. Thank you!
