North Iowa Sheltie Rescue

If you have a Sheltie that you need to get in to our program, here is how to go about doing that.

1  E-mail us.  Please tell us why you are
    surrendering the dog. 

2  Fill out the Owner Surrender Form and bring
     it with you.  

 (You will need the free Adobe Reader to view this form.)

3   Gather up all the vet records and other
     pertinent paperwork and bring it with you.

4   Bring the dog to us at our prearranged time
     and day.  (We do not take "walk-in's)

 

Things we REALLY appreciate if you do:  (but not required)

 

-  Have your dog freshly groomed

-  Have your dog spayed or neutered

-  Have the dogs teeth cleaned (by your vet).

-  Please bring any and all:

• Crates

• Food

• Toys

• Medications-- Heartworm pills, Fleas Prevention, Any other medication the dog uses
