Omega Investment Club History

The Omega Investment Club is a social and stock market investing club that has been in operation in Lexington Park since 1969. It has three primary purposes. They are, “to promote social interaction among members, teach new members sound investment techniques, and make money through stock investing employing those techniques taught.”

The membership has changed over the years, but the club has remained. Omega is a stock market investment club operated like a mutual fund, but actively managed by the club members. Omega operates under a set of bylaws, a partnership agreement, and conducts monthly meetings to review and vote on stocks to buy and sell.
