The COBALT line opens the doors to the world of refinement. Refinement in form, compact and elegant, refinement in the variety of natural wood finishes, and refinement in the tonality, timbre and micro-dynamic contrasts within the music as a whole. This level of technology calls upon the best in Polyglass woofers and the famous Tioxid inverted dome tweeters derived from the Grande Utopia project.
With the ELECTRA line, you reach the heart of JMlabs high technologies. The W type sandwich cones, individually hand made by a team of artisans takes no less than 30 minutes per driver to assemble; it transcribes a wealth of detail and micro-dynamic shadings and contrast that usually go unnoticed. Here again, another aspect of the Grande Utopia research project comes into play: the Focus Time system aligns the drivers around the tweeter in a symmetrical arc and provides an incredibly detailed and precise sound stage. And the construction of the enclosures, using unusually thick and well-damped materials, provides reproduction without coloration or parasitic resonance's.
