InuYasha is the daring "hero" in this story. He was pinned to a tree 50 years ago by the one he loved(Kikyo). Now he has been released from the tree by Kikyo's reincarnation, a girl named Kagome.

He loves: Kagome and Kikyo. At first he only loved Kagome because she reminded him of Kikyo, but soon after that changed.

He hates: He has numerous enemies, but the two main enemies are his brother, Sesshomaru, and Naraku, the man responsible for Kikyo's death. There is also Koga, who is more like a friendly rival because he really likes Kagome, which has caused problems between Kagome and InuYasha.
