Jaken is Sesshoumaru's minon. Following Sesshoumaru wherever he goes, Jaken never fails to upset Sesshoumaru and get hit by him. Though there is no real background on Jaken, we can all tell that he gets rather annoying.
He is more like an advisor that doesn't get listened to.
