In general there are two types of anti-rust materials currently used
throughout the world - those which act as sealers and are effective
only as long as they remain elastic (which is generally not long),
and those which through a chemical reaction convert or neutralise the
ferrous oxides into stable salts - these are effective for about three months.
"GOLD SEAL", however, is entirely different in composition, application, and effectiveness in killing rust, and also its length of protection.
As a sealer which embodies numerous inhibitors and chemicals and special oils, it never hardens and can be applied directly over any condition or surface; (other sealers must have a clean and dry surface, which means additional expensive stripping, steam cleaning or sandblasting).
It is worthy of note at this point that GOLD SEAL RUSTPROOFING
has been used successfully in some of the harshest environments
that industry has to offer, such as Salt Works, Pulp Mills,
Steel Bridges over Tidal and Thermal Streams, and in Woolscouring Plants.
