			Odissi is an Indian Classical Dance originated in the temple of Lord Jagannath in Orissa, East India. Odissi is highly stylized in nature and utilizes powerful energetic footwork tandava & graceful feminine postures and movements(Lasya). The three distinct postures of Odissi is Chowka, Tribhangi & Abhang. Torso movements are very unique in Odissi which enhances the beauty of the dance.
