IBP History

Differences United as One

If you want to know the story of IBP one would have to go into the past and look up another group, a Group called M.M.C. The origination of IBP started From The Money Making Crew which was founded by Carl Pangilinan, Ben Birdsong,Carlitos Steinmetz, and Mandre Keesee. At the time when the 4 were doing what it takes to get by (stealing, Dealing,Looting,selling) Money Making Crew Flourished from the name it was spawned from But just as any storyline or drama MMC had its ups and downs.

Soon there wasn't much money coming through and More members were joining that didn't quite fit the Money Making Crew Criteria, Not to mention the MMC name kept on being tarnished over and over again. Ridiculed names such as Monkey Man Crew, and Mickey Mouse Club drove the Group crazy to the extent that the crew begged for a new name.

Carlitos and Mandre Sat down and thought and contemplated on what to call themselves, They wanted something original and showed exactly what they were about and what they represented. Something that didn't just describe one person but described the group as a whole. Mandre then pointed out that they were all of different race and of ethnicity, maybe they could run on that. Carlitos thought it was a good Idea, and thought about a Game on nintendo that they both loved playing at the time, a game called "River City Ransom" He then suggested that they named themselves after a Group of Fighters in that game who Called themselves the International Boys, Much like their group the International Boys were also of different race and ethnicity, and Mandre thought it fit perfectly. Mandre then suggested that they add Posse at the name cause so that it would be a three letter acronym cause it was popular at the time to have 3 a three letter acronym. Carlitos Thought it was cool and it was agreed upon later from the rest of the group Members.

International Boy Posse went on through the next couple of years adding new members dropping some members, but all in all it remained an unstoppable tank that just kept on rolling no matter what hit it. The group was strong due to the base that, they always knew there was a bigger picture than what was in front of them, Although they bickered amongst each other they never let it little squabbles take over and break up what they had. The crew became more then just a club or whatever, it became more of a Brotherhood.

They also began to celebrate Every year in appreciation of Group Members who had done outanding achievments and accomplishments. Most of these Awards though weren't so prestigious though, The most of the awards were Degrading and you would think whats the sense in having that type of award, when it just puts you down. but IBP knew there was a bigger picture, Getting these so called bad awards would just mean that it would inspire the member to try harder the next year to shoot for the Greatest Award of all time, The Coveted, "HERO OF THE YEAR" award.

Competition is what these Boyz thrived on the most, and they often competed with each other, weather it was girls,Sports,trash talking, you name it they competed at it. You'd have to have a strong mind set and spirit to keep up with these guys. You will find that Most IBP members are very Charismatic and energetic for they have to be if they are even going to fit in this group. All in all it made them stronger, for they bettered themselves individually and when they came together as a whole it made them a whole lot potent as a Team.

During the highschool years, I.B.P began expanding in just the regular routine, They began getting into, entertainment, sports, and Art. With this each member found what there talent was and used it to help themselves and the group. Studios were Made DJ Groups were accomplished and Sports Clubs were Recognized. IBP became more then just a Group of Guys running around causing trouble like back in the days, they were becoming Young Dreamers and Inspirationalists. That's when Mandre thought it was time for yet another Name change, and thats when The Posse Be came a Productions group. Once again the bigger picture was Looked at and Production was the key factor in making things work.

Now in the Real world or in college each member of IBP is trying their hardest to make whatever they wish for Come true. Connections have been formed from LA to San Diego and Even more are in the wait. As Years Pass by you would think the Group would Get weaker as Members Leave or are not able to spend much time with each other, But This group proves other wise Now celebrating its 12 year Birthday it seems like IBP is immortal and wont stop until each dream of each member is succeeded.

"IBP will always Live on, as long as its mentioned, as long as its talked about, IBP will go on forever even if the members are separated, If somebody says or somebody asks me, where you from? And what do you represent? Ill gladly say IBP, And in this IBP will always be around. It cant die unless We are silenced or killed but even then IBP will live on in spirit through the people that remember us so to get rid of it your gonna have to get rid of a whole lot of people haha"-------------Mandre
