Text Box: Sura 49:13 from the Koran of Islam

O mankind! We created you from a single pair of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of God is he who is the most righteous of you. And God has full knowledge and is well acquainted with all things.

3.  Resources

i.  Required Resources for Operation

The Land

The current priority for this InterFaith Settlement is the transfer of the land of Salt Fork Park to this InterFaith Settlement.

Immediate Necessities

The aggregate schedule of specific resource requirements for this InterFaith Settlement is in the process of being calculated.  This calculation is being made on a per person basis and with a presumed population of 5,000 residents, including men, women, and children.  It is presumed that the initial number of residents within this InterFaith Settlement may be considerably less than 5,000 and the eventual number of residents within this InterFaith Settlement may increase beyond 5,000.  The number of 5,000 is simply Text Box:

established as an intermediate indicator and there is a certain adjustability that is maintained through the per person calculations.  These calculations are also made on an (occasionally weekly), monthly, and annual basis.

Infrastructure and Utilities

It is considered that the primary necessities of the residents of this InterFaith Settlement (accommodations and utilities) are provided through the established infrastructure of the land provided to this InterFaith Settlement.  However, mutually agreeable arrangements are required with the local providers of utilities (water, electricity, heat [gas], telephone) once the land is transferred to this InterFaith Settlement.  There are also plans for further consultation with advisers, including the Global Economic Village Network and other private organisations such as Eco Casa e Eco Fábrico (www.ecocasa.com.br), for the implementation of sustainable and renewable energy provision (electricity, heat, and water).

Resource Exchanging Organisations

In this respect, the initial, primary consideration is the continual provision of additional resources (food, clothing, general merchandise) as well as certain technological capabilities (computer and other technologies, internet access).  A number of resource exchanging organisations (corporations) have been contacted pertaining the provision of such resources (specifically through trade with this InterFaith Settlement).  A list of these resource exchanging organisations includes:
