| What is the Purpose of Biblical World View Science? |
| The primary purpose of science based on a Biblical world view is not to somehow validate God's Word by "Scientific" means. As Christians walk by faith, not by sight, God's Word is established by the Holy Sciptures alone (sola Scriptura). The purpose of Biblical world view science is rather to verify Biblical truths, especially by debunking the pseudoscientific and atheistic claims of evolutionism. The glory of our Almighty Creator is evident in His divinely created world. The scriptures state: Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools Biblical world view science is an understanding of the natural world that's consistent with Judeo-Christian beliefs and ethics. Because the underlying philosophy of evolutionism is basically atheistic (and because science and technology have come to dominate the thinking of the present era) scientific knowledge has sadly become, in the minds of many, the most important form of knowledge. The key assumption of evolutionary thought is rooted in Scientism, the false religious (albeit irreligious) belief that reality can only be defined by materialistic means. The true, historical record clearly shows that many key insights into the structure and functioning of the universe were discovered and formulated by men who believed in God. Some were true Christians, who acknowledged that all things were created by Jesus Christ, and didn't happen by blind, unguided chance. They recognized the intricate design, complex mechanisms, and dynamic systems of a well ordered, divinely made world that operates by disciplined, reliable principles and laws of nature, that were programmed by the omniscient and omnipotent King of Kings and Lord of Lords. |

| Man, who is made in the image of God (Who is Spirit) has been provided with an ability to contemplate abstract concepts (such as mathematics) from the beginning, as described in the book of Genesis. It's ironic that materialistic scientists of our modern age erroneously claim that scientific progress has been impeded by religion because (in not believing in the invisible God) no atheist would likely ever have discovered invisible forces such as gravity and electromagnetism, that were first discovered by scientists who believed in invisible spiritual truth.. All scientific evidence concerning the origins of the world and mankind is beyond the direct observation and testing that is requisite for empirical methodology. Evidence must therefore be interpreted by scientists, who interpret that evidence through the influence of their philosophical world view. There are two basic world view models: The currently dominant evolutionary view based on atheism, and the Biblical view based on the authority of the Holy Bible. The most immediately practical purpose of Biblical world view science is to refute evolutionary claims. Contrary to popular propaganda to the contrary, many highly accredited professional scientists, physicians and engineers do not believe in evolutionism. There are many Biblical world view organizations that publish expansive amounts of credible evidence that refutes evolutionist claims. Darwin devised evolutionism specifically as an attempt to discredit the book of Genesis, by giving atheists a materialistic alternative 'creation' story. Biblical world view science exposes that lie. Although salvation comes by faith in Jesus Christ alone through God's gift of Grace, there is also much logical, empirical scientific evidence that supports the accuracy of all Biblical revelation. |
