DR. G.R. CHOPRA

Brief Profile
Born on 7th June, 1941 in Sargodha (Now in Pakistan). He
had his early education at Firozepur, Jhirka Dist. Gurgaon
(Haryana). He did his graduation and Post graduation from
University of Delhi specializing in Chemistry. He did his
Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry (natural Products), (1968)
under the guidance of Prof. T. R. Seshadri, F.R.S, a
world-renowned scientist. He has seven papers in reputed
Journals. He started his teaching career in 1968 from
Hindu College (University of Delhi). Later on, he shifted
to Shivaji College (University of Delhi). He has a
teaching experience of over 30 years. He had been a
member of Academic Council, Delhi University for 4
years(1981-85). He became the Principal of the
Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences in 1997. Under
his able guidance and leadership, the College has
developed a lot.
