THOUGHTS
GREEN AND CLEAN
Everyone of us, then, will have to give an account of himself to God (Bible: Rom 14:12).
All God’s gifts like time, health, knowledge, wealth, abilities and talents are to be made the best use of. They are given to us for our own benefit and that of others. We are accountable for their use, and should not squander or misuse them. God who has entrusted these things to us expects us to use them responsibly. Someone may cleverly escape accounting to earthly authorities, but no one can escape accounting to God who rewards each one according to his merits.
—George Kaitholil
Time heals
"Time heals" people often say. This is not true when it means that we will eventually forget the wounds inflicted on us and be able to live on as if nothing happened. That is not really healing; it is simply ignoring reality. But when the expression "time heals" means that faithfulness in a difficult relationship, even when it is hard and not satisfying, can lead us to a deeper understanding of the ways we have hurt each other, then there is much truth in it. "Time heals" implies not passively waiting but actively working with our pain and trusting in the possibility of forgiveness and reconciliation.

Take on big tasks
Life is more exciting when we take on big tasks, when we keep striving at goals that make us grow, when we find within ourselves resources that carry us undaunted through all setbacks, through all reverses. This is the path by which the soul constantly increases in stature.
