Life � a Trial

We are on trial and everything that happens day by day puts us to the test in what we do and what we say�circumstances weigh us in the balance of events�in small affairs that seem to be of little consequence�and important matters when we�re hurt or driven hard.

We are judged by what we are when we are off the guard. Never does the devil give up fighting for a soul or lose a chance to undermine and break down self-control. Fools deny that he exists, but every passing hour proves how much we need to guard against the evil power that lies in wait to trick us, to deceive and to destroy our faith, our peace of mind, our courage and our joy...there is no escaping.

Every day is judgement day�and that is why Jesus said that we should watch and pray.

 

Give Life your Best

Stop for a few moments and take a spontaneous inventory of your life. Are the days filled with action, interesting things to do or is life a drudgery for you? Do you make a half-hearted attempt at anything you do�whether it be getting up from bed or handling work at your place of employment?

Don�t stay satisfied by giving life your second best. No matter what your situation, do your best.
