Kommissar: The Gun Of Bavaria

KOMMISSAR'S  OFFICE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CHANGE RULES AS LISTED BELOW AT ANY TIME

Gamers cannot play with teams with overall ratings higher than 87*

*NOTE : The above rule can be waived on a game-by-game basis with the express consent of both gamers in the form of verbal or written contact to the Kommissar's  office PRIOR to the start of game.

Gamers need not select a single team to play with throughout the entire season, although they can if they so desire.

Duplicate team games (i.e. JETS vs. JETS) are allowed.

Games are to be played 1 per calendar week (Monday - Sunday). It is up to the gamers to communicate either via email or the forums to setup a mutually agreeable time to play that week's match. Failure to setup a mutually agreeable time so will result in forfeiture of one or both gamers, depending on Kommissar's judgment

The onus is on the Winner of the match to report the score to the Kommissar - extra information such as player stats, scoring breakdown, are encouraged but not required.

Biggest Rule: ABSOLUTELY NO QUITTING!

Honest disconnects should try to work it out themselves - do it over (or not) basically whatever you all think is fair based on the circumstances. If the score was 41-3 in the 4th Q perhaps you can all be honorable about it and let it go.

If the parties determine that disconnect was accidental and agree to a do over, it is recommended that the gamers commence with do-over ONLY if played under same or similar weather pattern as the original match. If either party invokes this clause it must be honored by the other gamer.

However, all disputes will be dealt with on a case by case basis in arbitration by Commish or alternate. Burden of proof is on the person who got kicked off. Once is accident, Twice is not. Quitters will be chucked out of the league without regard or mercy. Your honor will be dragged through the gutters, and your name will be associated with shame and ballslessness throughout all eternity.

All judgment of the Kommissar are final.

Everything else is fair game, within reason. Like if the Kommissar's office hears about anyone running fake punts with Randy Moss all game there's going to be hell to pay.

We are not going to try to implement "non-cheese" rules - hopefully people play a realistic game with punting, realistic pace, substitutes etc - However if a gamer wants to run the hurry-up O all damn game with Warren Sapp playing Tailback its their business - the smart player will overcome cheesy tactics and kick the other guy's ass.



PLAYOFF SYSTEM:

After completion of the regular season, division champions will be crowned. The 4 best remaining  teams in each conference will receive a Wild Card playoff birth and face each other in a Wild Card Playoff while the 2 division champions will receive a 1st round bye. The winners of the Wild Card game will face the division champions in each conference's divisional playoff. The winners of those games will face each other in the Conference finals. Each conference champion will then face each other in the Klecko Bowl.
