I woke up in the morning and noticed my armor had been cut. It must have happened last night and I didn't notice. I brought it back to the blacksmith to repair. "Its damaged, easy to fix. Will get right to work." "I thank you for your dedicaction blacksmith." "Malk." "What?" "My name, Malk." "Thank you Malk." "Have new ideas, make more if you want." I knew I didn't have the drakers to pay for it. "I will be sure to comeback if I need something." I left the shop and went to talk to the guard who slept in my house. He was there as I expected. "You wanted to talk to me...I don't think I learned your name." "Ondre." "You were inside last night and you said nothing to me." "I saved your life, I took out four people that were following you, and one behind you. If you would have told me what you were doing I might have said something too." "Ok Ondre, You make a good point. What do we do now?" "No one lived last night that saw me. I can infiltrate the command. I have had alot of practice in stealth. I can go back and learn the location of Brick's residence. It will take me all day, or longer." "Understood. You report to me when you find something out. Anything else?" "Two things, I need to know your name." "Dalen." "Lastly, you can't throw worth a damn Dalen. I can help you. They were scared and didn't know any better, but I can tell." I didn't want to admit it but I knew he was right. "Aggreed." I spent a couple hours with and he showed me a few techniques and he was gone the whole day. I practiced until my arm hurt and then I rested. I got up and throw it more. I had gotten alittle better and I stuck the target most of the time. That night I watched over another night at the Midnight Moon. I didn't have to do any fighting all night long. Sometimes I wish that place had some adventure from time to time. |
