One Soul Lost

I lost my nerve today
on such a lovely day
I can't say what I did
or what could have been said
can't help to feel mislead

I lost my heart today
it seemed to fade away
no choice but to not care
some things are not so clear
surrendered to my fear

I lost my hope today
my mind don't care to stay
no strength to look forword
my ears can hear no word
my ignorance was lured

I lost my wife today
died with regret today
no one to hear my cries
I stare with my cold eyes
for here my body lies
