Mid Summer Night

As I see you on your bed
Memorise of purity drift through my head
in my heart, there is a thrill
where so much beauty Jus lying still

in the day, so cool and wet
in the night, so cold and calm
in the mind, so bright and clear
in my dreams, so warm and dear

the touch of silk runs through my hands
and to my feet, thy burning sands

and to see that which once was so blue
and that in my heart, thought was so true
and what have I done, what should I do
sand at my feet and tears in my eye

that which I love
pollute it no more
protection for
that which I love

not as nice as I remember
to see the Ice in late december
and to the sea, thy beauty run
and to your home, beneath the sun

Here I stay til my river dies
you have touched so many lives
our time is marked for their lies
