Elemental Seasons

I see the sky facing the sun
decending pink, purple then blue
so faded through the misty sky
beyond the clouds secretly hide
a saddened view of pastel cries
these eyes relieve this heart of pain

against a tree to view the world
the greenest life that grew in spring
the breeze so soft, the air so sweet
the morning dew on a mourning flower
this life that makes a tranquil place
to ease my stress, remove my fear

I stand alone in pouring rain
the crash of raindrops crashing down
blue lightning from so far away
the violent thunder rumbles low
such soothing rage as rain pours down
but Jus to wash the tears away

I watch ice break into this creek
the trees strip bare of all their leaves
the ice cicles where once was green
a deer scraps snow to find a meal
in time all things will find a way
it makes me feel there's always hope
