there's a place in my head
that only I may go
it lies so deep inside
that nothing lives below
with trees and grass so green
and flowers everywhere
and shores by bluest seas
with waters trully pure
the place I like to sit
against a tree thats long been dead
an oak that stands tall and grand
it stands alone within its bed
it shows it's age quite well
its lost it's leaves and turned pitch black
still as strong as always
it's here I hide and don't look back
my friend makes sure I'm safe
a three foot man that lives in the tree
always there comforting me
I go to hide outside of whats real
he's sheltering how I feel
he ask little in turn
I do what he wants me
it makes me feel guilty
I'm glad he comforts me
when he tells me to kill
